The motorcyclist in the accident lost his life in the crash, and was pronounced dead by officials from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department at the scene of the wreck. The driver of the Honda Civic was reported to have suffered injuries related to the car and motorcycle crash. Although the traffic fatality in Las Vegas was a particular type of accident with both vehicles colliding, they do not believe that either the driver or the motorcyclist were impaired at the time of the crash, and have noted that it is unlikely that drugs or alcohol were involved in this Southern Nevada motorcycle death.
